Residential Design Period Project class presents to the Historical Society of Bonita Springs

By: Linda Petersen MA, LEED AP, IDEC, ASID, IIDA, AIA- Program Manager of Interior Design

The Residential Design Period Project class presented their project of a historic house in Bonita Springs to the Historical Society of Bonita Springs.  The students gifted the society with  boards and a project book.  The boards will be hung in the house when the renovation is complete.  Two members of the family who originally owned the home were present, and they complimented the class on their research and completeness of the project. One man, with tears in his eyes, said the house which the class presented looked exactly as his father had described it to him as a child.  "I believe this was a very successful project," said Ms. Petersen.
